<p>A method of the utilization of a fungicidal composition characterized by treating seeds of a subject plant or a cultivation carrier for sowing the subject plant with an effective amount of a composition containing, as the active ingredient, one or more members selected from among 1,2,3-thiadiazole derivatives represented by general formula (I) and salts thereof: <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents H, (C1-6)alkyl or C3-7cycloalkyl, and R<2> represents CO-Y-R<3> (wherein R<3> represents H, (halo)(C1-20)alkyl, (halo) (C2-20)alkenyl, (substituted) carbamoyl(C1-6)alkyl, (substituted) phenyl, (substituted) phenyl(C1-6)alkyl, a 5- to 6-membered heterocycle having one or more hetero atoms selected from among O, S and N, etc.). This method is superior in the effect of controlling disease injury such as Pyricularia oryzae to the foliage application treatment.</p> |
