<p>The procedure includes carrying out a measurement (5) of the total power of the modulated signal and deducing from it an average power reference with respect to wavelength. The power of individual wavelengths it then regulated (10) according to this average power measurement. The power regulation procedure allows adjustment of the power of at least one input wavelength injected into a modulated optical signal, amongst a series of wavelengths.
