PURPOSE: A method for recording and retrieving a remote video using the Internet is provided to maintain the security and high reliability of data by recording the data using a software and control program for performing a very excellent security and guard function and a mail server located in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: An external video input device inputs video data of a monitoring object region and transmits the inputted video data to a software mounting device(1). The transmitted video signal is processed as a digital frame signal(2). The video signal processed as the digital frame signal is selected to be transmitted to a designated E-mail address(3). A software and control program automatically transmits the selected video data through an Internet network connected to an xDSL or a cable modem(4,5). The transmitted video data are automatically stored in an E-mail server located in a remote place(6). |
