The headrest of a motor vehicle's seat comprises a vessel (3) integrated into an elastically deformable gastight shell (4) filled with a gas and at least partially with filling components (5). The vessel has at least one pipe (6) connected to means for impact-type evacuation of the gas in the event of a collision and for refilling with gas. The aforesaid means comprising a vacuum pump (7), reservoir (8) and valve (10) are controlled by a pre-crash sensor and are integrated inside or below the seat, especially in the seat back. |
