PURPOSE: A polymer composition is provided, which is biodegradable and processible into various forms including film or fiber, particularly a monofilament having accurate meltspin, sufficient flexibility and strength, and suitable decomposition rate, and a film having sufficient strength. CONSTITUTION: The polymer composition represented by formula(1) comprises (A) a segment formed from block copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide and (B) a segment formed by polymerization of lactide or glycolide, wherein R is hydrogen or methyl group, l is 1 or more, m, m', n and n' which can be same or different, are 0 or 1 or more, provided that m + m' is not 0 and n + n' is not 0. The segment (A) is represented by formula 2, wherein R is hydrogen or methyl group, l is 1 or more, m, m', n and n' which can be same or different, are 0 or 1 or more, provided that m + m' is not 0 and n + n' is not 0. The segment (B) is represented by formula 3, wherein R is hydrogen or methyl group.
