The invention relates to novel substituted benzo-nitro-heterocycles of formula (I), wherein A represents a simple bond or the group C(R<2>,R<3>), R<2> representing hydrogen or alkyl and R<3> representing hydrogen or alkyl; Q represents O (oxygen) or S (sulphur), R<1> represents optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, heterocyclyl or heterocyclylalkyl, respectively, X represents hydrogen or halogen, Y represents O (oxygen), S (sulphur), NH or N-R<1> and Z represents a heterocyclic group. The invention also relates to methods for producing said substituted benzo-nitro-heterocycles and to their use as herbicides. |
