The arched roof consists of a curved covering layer (1), e.g. of stainless steel, aluminum or synthetic material, on a supporting frame of variable height and width, the frame comprising sides and lower lengthwise extensible parallel supports (4). Additional covering members (5) beneath the main covering layer (1) can be moved sideways by extending the supports (4) and uprights.
