PURPOSE: A rotary engine is provided to conduct a cycle of suction, compression, expansion and exhaust depending on the rotation of a gear train and to conduct a continuous cycle in proportion to the engaging number of main shaft gears. CONSTITUTION: Once a main shaft gear(20) is rotated with a subsidiary gear(30), external air from an intake port(11) is compressed and mixed with fuel injected through an injecting nozzle(40). Then, mixed gas is inlet into the engaging portion of main shaft gears and ignited through an ignition plug(50) in a thinner state. The mixed gas is expanded and pressure is delivered to the main shaft through the main shaft gears. Combustion gas is exhausted through an exhaust port(12) of a housing(10) depending on the rotation of the main shaft gear. Further, oil flows through an oil channel(23) and an oil guiding groove(25) and keeps temperature low for the main shaft gears. Therefore, continuous power is generated in proportion to the engaging number of main shaft gears in a simple structure.
