PURPOSE: An emergency sudden braking system is provided to prevent accidents by suddenly braking driving units in an emergency and to improve sudden braking efficiency by generating a braking power using a weight. CONSTITUTION: An emergency sudden braking system comprises a case(1) combined to a round frame(2) having a driving unit(A); a lining band(3) spaced from the driving unit by a predetermined distance(t), closely adhered to the driving unit, and operated compressively; a half-moon shaped brake disk(4) closely adhered to the driving unit and operated compressively; an operating lever(9) combined to the lining band and the brake disk while having a brake weight(13) installed in the mobile state; and a control unit connected with an emergency switch to control the operation of the brake weight by restraining the operation of the operating lever. The lining band and the brake disk are simultaneously operated by the brake weight. Therefore, braking energy with a fastening force pressurizing the driving unit is generated.
