Complex amplitude characteristic of this corrector is reverse to that of nonlinear device being corrected and provides for correcting distortions due to pre-distortion of input signal. Nonlinear distortion corrector has input signal splitter, amplitude detector, envelope amplifier, envelope splitter, as well as stages each incorporating quadrature signal splitter, adjustable-gain amplifier, signal multiplier, and common-mode signal adder.
