BRAKE DEVICE HAVING LINING WEAR LIMIT INDICATOR

PURPOSE: A brake device having a lining wear limit indicator is provided to enable a driver or a mechanic to conveniently check the wear status of a brake lining without disassembling of a brake device. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake comprises a brake pad having a lining(11) attached on an iron piece(10) and a disk(12). Herein, a writing tool(20) is inserted to the iron piece while the end of the writing piece is placed at a wear limit(L) of the lining. If the brake liming is worn out due to long time use, the end of the writing tool touches to the surface of the disk and draws a line on the surface of the disk. Therefore, the status of the disk is easily detected without disassembling.
