ELECTROLYTE FOR LITHIUM ION POLYMER BATTERY

PURPOSE: An electrolyte for a lithium ion polymer battery is provided, to blocking the direct contact of an electrode with a solvent at a high potential and at a high temperature for inhibiting the degradation of a solvent, to inhibit the increase of inner impedance of a battery and, and reduce the self-discharging rate at a high temperature and at a high potential. CONSTITUTION: The electrolyte comprises a ceramic filler; a lithium salt/aprotic solvent; and 0.1-15 wt% of an additive selected from a sultone compound and a sulfonate compound. Preferably the sultone compound is an alkane sultone compound represented by the formula(I), wherein R is an alkyl group of C2-C12. The sulfonate compound is preferably an alkylalkane sulfonate represented by the formula(II), wherein R' and R'' are independent each other and are an alkyl group of C1-C10.
