PURPOSE: A system for automatically controlling a color fluorescent light is provided to make various colors by installing a fluorescent light on an indoor/outdoor ornament or a signboard. CONSTITUTION: Various types of programs that a user wants, a linear up/down mode and a rectangular wave form are inputted to a CPU ROM. An address/data bus is driven by the CPU. A decoder disposed on each board reads data conforming to his/her ID. A corresponding DC1-10V output of analogue type is generated by using a PIO and a D/A converter. An output of an illumination control ballast of a fluorescent light is controlled to control brightness of a color fluorescent light connected to the ballast and make various colors and changes. A DIP switch enables the user to select a program and a speed at needs, thereby maximizing convenience in use. Inconvenience that a changed program is inputted to the CPU ROM in every case is eliminated since the various types of programs are inputted in the CPU memory semiconductor in advance.
