PURPOSE: A method for naming service is provided to promptly offer the best name to a client at a low cost by receiving various names from members through the Internet and storing the names in the web server, to activate naming information by offering mileage to the members, and to obtain high quality names from the member by paying actual money to the member whose name is adopted. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a naming web server deciding if a user connecting to the web server is a member(S103), deciding the existence of a request for registering a name from a user computer(S111), deciding the reception of a name after requesting naming connection(S113), examining the name received from a manager computer and ranking the name(S117), transmitting the rank or the corresponding mileage to the user computer(S119), databasing the naming information corresponding to an item(S121), deciding the request for purchasing the name from the user computer when user computer doesn't request name registry request(S123), requesting the user computer to select an item and deciding the selection of item(S127), transmitting the naming information of the selected item to a client computer(S129), and transmitting the sale of the name to the user computer registering the name(S131).
