PURPOSE: An AKB line removing device of a CRT is provided, which eliminates AKB line appearing at the upper part of a screen in an AKB system used for a display apparatus using a CRT, to maximize efficiency of the system. CONSTITUTION: An AKB line removing device of a CRT includes an AKB pulse generator(21) for generating an AKB(Automatic Kine Bias) pulse from input vertical and horizontal synchronous signals with a predetermined field as a cycle, and a processor(22) for multiplexing R,G,B signals and the AKB pulse. The device further has a current feeding back unit(23) for feeding back current flowing through the display only during the AKB pulse period to measure a difference among the R,G,B signals, and an AKB correction unit(24) for correcting AKB value of the multiplexed signal output from the processor according to the output signal of the feedback unit.
