APPARATUS FOR COMBINING POWER LINE FOR POWER LINE COMMUNICATION IN LOW-VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for combining a power line for a power line communication in a low-voltage distribution network is provided not to be influenced by loads in home and effectively transmit a power line signal by installing a coupling and power line communication gateway in home. CONSTITUTION: A phase coupler(610) is installed in a power line(P) between a watt-hour meter(500) and a main breaker(700) for filtering only power line communication signal from a power signal inputted through the watt-hour meter(500) and providing the filtered signal to a power line communication outdoor module(620). The power line communication outdoor module(620) processes the power line communication signal inputted through the phase coupler(610), converts the processed power line communication signal into a digital signal, and provides the converted digital signal to a repeater module(630). The repeater module(630) transmits the digital power line communication signal received from the power line communication outdoor module(620) to a power line communication indoor module(640) by an Ethernet switching operation. An auxiliary separation filter(650) is installed in a secondary side of an auxiliary breaker(810) in which a power line modem(900) is installed. When a communication is performed between the power line communication indoor module(640) and the power line modem(900), the influence of loads connected to other auxiliary breakers(820-870) is removed to improve a communication efficiency.
