<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional system that it takes a long time to attach an insulating cylinder with a spiral core, for keeping the cylinder expanded radially on the inner circumference of the cylinder since it is necessary for that purpose to apply semiconductor tapes to a cable conductor at both the ends of a conductor connection compression sleeve. SOLUTION: This conductor connection tube 10 consists of a conductor connection compression sleeve 3 having cylindrical protrusions 9 on both its end surfaces. Since the cylindrical protrusions 9 cover groove-shaped recesses is formed around the conductor and between both the end surfaces of the conductor connection compression sleeve 3 and the end surface of cable insulating layers, if this conductor connection tube 10 is employed, a part of a tape comprising a spiral core of an insulating cylinder is not caught by the recess, when the spiral core is removed. It is not necessary to apply semiconductor tapes, as has been done in the conventional constitution, for filling the recess with the tapes in order to avoid catching, so that working time can be reduced.</p> |
