PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic still camera lending system where the service burden of a clerk, which is required for the lending management of an electronic still camera, is reduced. SOLUTION: A customer inputs a necessary item by a pen input device 101 in accordance with a procedure displayed on the display device 108 of a counter terminal 100. A magnetic card reader 102 reads a credit card and a rent is cleared. The customer photographs a picture by using a digital camera 105 selected from an unlended digital camera list stored in the counter terminal 100. At the time of returning the camera, a recording medium in which the photographing picture is recorded is connected to a recording medium reader 103 in accordance with a procedure displayed on a display device 108. Then, picture data is printed, an electronic mail is transmitted and data is written into a CD-ROM. |
