PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently transmit a high-speed data calling of an xDSL subscriber and a switching calling of a telephone subscriber in a set of optical cables between an accommodation station and a remote terminal device. SOLUTION: The other empty fixing band than a switching calling 91 of a telephone subscriber 1 is allocated to a data calling 92 of an xDSL subscriber 2 under control of a remote terminal device 3 connected via an accommodation station 4 and an optical cable 8 within the remote terminal device 3. The data calling 92 and switching calling 91 are STM-multiplexed, and can be collected in the accommodation station 4 by a set of optical cables 8. A directional route distributor 41 or switcher 42 of the accommodation station 4 terminates the optical cable 8, and the data calling 92 and switching calling 91 multiplexed by the remote terminal device 3 are separated.
