PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact information input device having high performance and capable of reducing a circuit scale or power consumption. SOLUTION: Since the input device is provided with a scanning circuit 52 for circularly switching and outputting contact information from plural contacts 21 to 2n in accordance with a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing circuit 51 and a data storage circuit 55 for controlling a storage area in accordance with the synchronizing signal from the circuit 51 and storing the contact information outputted through the scanning circuit 52, a resistor circuit 53 and a digital input circuit 54, only one resistor circuit 53 and only one digital input circuit 54 are sufficient for constituting the input device, so that the packaging space of the input device can be reduced.
