PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control which can be driven with one dry battery of 1.5 V. SOLUTION: An infrared radiation part 1(a), a switch button 1(b), and a power supply for applying voltage to the infrared radiation part 1(a) are provided in a case 1(c). In the power supply, only one dry battery of 1.5 V is used. In an infrared ray LED4(d) as the infrared radiation part 1(a), a forward conductive semiconductor layer 6, a reverse conductive semiconductor layer 7, and a reverse conductive semiconductor ohmic electrode 8 are sequentially formed on a substrate 5. Then, a forward conductive semiconductor ohmic electrode 9 is formed on the rear side of the substrate 5. Moreover, an AlGaAs/GaAs Bragg reflective layer 10 is formed in the forward conductive semiconductor layer 6. |
