PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an electric apparatus automatically from a position relation between an user and the electric apparatus as a control object, without special consciousness of the user. SOLUTION: A GW telephone set 1 (communication terminal) is installed fixedly in a home, and electric apparatuses 3, 4 are connected with the set 1 through radio or wire. The GW telephone set 1 has constitution capable of radio communication with a portable terminal 2, receives position information from the portable terminal 2, and obtains a relative distance (A) between them. When the relative distance is at most a reference value, a control signal of operation start is transmitted from the GW telephone set 1 to the electric apparatuses. When the relative distance exceeds the reference value, a control signal of operation end is transmitted to the electric apparatuses. When the user (portable terminal 2) leaves the home (GW telephone set 1) or approaches the home, operation of the electric apparatuses 3, 4 can be controlled automatically from the position relation between the user and the home, without special consciousness. |
