PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size chip component supplying apparatus which needs a small number of components, has a high productivity, and is low-cost and is suitable for high speed operation. SOLUTION: In the chip component supplying apparatus, a shutter 8 is moved by the action of the air to open and close an insertion hole 3c without the and of the conventional swinging lever and a member for swinging the lever, thereby reducing the number of components of the apparatus. As a result, the low-cost chip mounting apparatus which needs a smaller number of components and has a high productivity can be provided.
