PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with call recording number converting function improved in convenience and reliability, with which a telephone number reported by voices from a speaking party can be dialed without using a writing instrument such as paper or pen. SOLUTION: Call contents provided through a telephone line 20 are recorded in an audio recording part 1. An audio recognizing part 2 recognizes numeral data from the call contents and stores them in a telephone number storage part 3. The telephone number stored in the telephone number storage part 3 can be confirmed by being displayed on a dial display part 15 or sounded by the speaker of a receiver 14. When there is an error in this telephone number, it can be corrected by using a telephone number correcting part 9. When a call originating operating part 6 is turned on after the telephone number is confirmed, a telephone number transmitting part 4 automatically transmits the telephone number stored in the telephone number storage part 3 to the telephone line 20.
