PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the generation of a buffer under-run error when writing recorded data into a CD-R device 1 from a host computer. SOLUTION: The method of recording for a write once optical disk is constituted in such a manner that the recorded data transferred from the host computer 2 are successively stored in an RAM 15 and successively written into the optical disk 4 through an optical pickup 14 following up at a constant speed while successively reading out these stored recorded data, and when the data stored in the RAM 15 decreased less than the specified amount, the write-in of the recorded data made by the optical pickup 14 is stopped in the amount for specified area by a microcomputer 17 while the follow-up state by the optical pickup 14 is kept continued. Meanwhile, the read-out of the recorded data is continued by the host computer 2 while skipping the same amount for specified area. The skipped amount for specified area is written by the microcomputer 17 after the write-in of the recorded data transferred from the host computer 2 is finished to the final part of the data.
