MAIL INTERLOCKED PROGRAM BROADCASTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail interlocked program broadcasting system which can quickly provided a detail information about a program or a commercial video broadcasted from a broadcasting station. SOLUTION: A program or a commercial video broadcasted from a broadcasting station in received with a television receiver, and at least image and character information of the relevant program or commercial video are displayed on the screen. When a user selects the process to request detailed information in relation to the program and commercial video, codes corresponding to the detailed information in regard to the selected program and commercial video are transmitted to a database server via a communication means. When the codes corresponding to the detailed information in regard to the program and commercial video transmitted from the receiver are received, the detailed information about the program and commercial video is identified based on the codes received and the detailed information is transferred to a distribution server. The detailed information regarding the program and commercial video transferred from the database server is transmitted by the distribution server from the receiver to a terminal used by a user who has requested the detailed information via the communication means.
