PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution requesting method capable of acquiring required information by one time of connection to an information providing source. SOLUTION: Concerning the information distribution requesting method for selecting the required information out of various kinds of information provided by the information providing source and requesting the distribution of this selected information to the information providing source, this method has a first step for reading a bar code which is displayed on a medium, corresponding to the selected information, a second step for converting the read bar code to an ID number corresponding to the selected information and a third step for transmitting the ID number to the information providing source.
