PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a system and method capable of providing gene information on an individual and optimum medical technology information based on the individual gene information, and also to secure high security that prevents the gene information on an individual from being leaked. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a means (12) for generating a gene examination slip subjected to signatures which is obtained by attaching the electronic signatures of an examinee individual and a doctor in charge of an examination to the gene examination slip of the examinee individual and preparing an enciphered examination slip (e.g. doubly enciphered by the respective cryptographic keys of the examinee individual and the doctor in charge) by enciphering the gene examination subjected to the signatures, the means (12) for preparing a read permission for reading a gene information record in which the ID of a read permitter with whom the examinee individual agrees is included and also which the enciphered examination slip and gene examination results are recorded, and a means (13) for holding the enciphered examinations slip, the gene data record and the read permission as a set. The editing and/or reading of the records of the enciphered examination slip, the gene data record and the read permission are managed.
