SOLUTION: This system for selling and reworking a photocatalyst attachment is provided with a purchase confirmation requesting means for preparing purchase data, and for presenting a confirmation picture including necessary items to a customer for requesting the customer to confirm the purchase, a control means for preserving the purchase data at the time of receiving the confirmation of the purchase by the customer, and for controlling the term of validity of the photocatalytic effects of the photocatalyst attachment from the reception date of the confirmation of the purchase, a transmitting means for transmitting an application for the reworking of the optical medium to the customer when reaching a prescribed period before the completion of the term of validity, and a reworking confirmation requesting means for requesting the customer to confirm the contents of the application at the time of receiving the application for the reworking of the photocatalyst by the customer.
