PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance contract management system and method by which the burden of the both to make a maintenance contract can be properly controlled and the maintenance contract can easily be made. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a maintenance rank table by machine types (storage means 26) storing a predictive maintenance value concerning maintenance within contract working time or contract period for each of plural contract ranks concerning each of various machine types, an input means for inputting the machine type of a machine, with which the maintenance contract is made, the contract rank and a maintenance result value, a maintenance managing data table by machines (storage means 27) for cumulatively storing the inputted maintenance result value of the machine, and a deciding means (control means) 30 for reading the predictive maintenance value corresponding to the machine type and contract rank of the machine, by which the maintenance contract is made, out of the maintenance rank table by machine types after the end of the maintenance contract of the machine, reading the maintenance result value of that machine out of the maintenance managing data table by machines and deciding whether the maintenance result value is greater than or smaller than the predictive maintenance contract value. |
