PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to specify any error part even when any error is generated in compressed picture data, and therefore it is substantially impossible to restore the compressed picture data. SOLUTION: The restoration of a compressed picture is tried by instructing the damaged picture, and setting a damage estimated point, and changing the data of the damage estimated point. Then, any relative deviation between the damage estimated point and the original damage point is judged from the different position with the original image data, and the situation of a boundary between the damaged picture area and the undamaged picture area at the time of changing the data of the damage estimated point when the damage estimated point approaches the damaged point is checked so that the damaged compressed data can be automatically and quickly restored. |
