<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a vehicle by using portable terminal equipment and to exchange various kinds of information outside the vehicle. SOLUTION: When portable terminal equipment 10 is coupled with on-vehicle equipment, the portable terminal equipment 10 functions as a vehicle control console. By operating the portable terminal equipment 10, a user can control air conditioning, door lock or audio. When the equipment 10 is separated from the on-vehicle equipment, it functions as a data transmitter/receiver. When the equipment is located inside a house, for example, the equipment 10 is connected with a domestic LAN, and opening/closing of a window or door is checked by receiving data from a home security system, or news information is received and displayed.</p> |
