PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use the area coated with a positive electrode active material on positive electrode material used to form a wound electrode body. SOLUTION: By a positive electrode material joining means under a control of a controlling part, a rear end margin of one positive electrode material which has at least one surface of a belt electrode collector intermittently coated and formed with positive electrode active material is joined with a head margin of the other positive electrode material, and, by a positive electrode cut-out means under the control of a controlling part, an adjacent uncoated area based on either a coating start position or a coating end position of the positive electrode active material is cut out, and at the same time, an uncoated area adjacent to a positive electrode material joining part between margins of one and the other positive electrode materials based on the other remaining position of the positive electrode active material is cut, thus, the positive electrode and the positive electrode material joining part is cut out from one and the other electrode material, and supplied to a winding position by a positive electrode supplying means, whereby, positive electrodes for all coated area of the positive electrode active material are hewed out precisely from the positive electrode material, and the area coated with the positive electrode active material on the positive electrode material can be efficiently used to form wound electrode bodies. |
