PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a video screen is tinged with blue when it is imaged by means of a camera and an unnatural video is imaged. SOLUTION: A field of video signal is divided into first and second periods, a reddish video suitable for imaging with a camera 2 is displayed in the first period and the video only in the first period is imaged by means of the camera 2. On the contrary, the image is modulated in the second period with a color balance complementary to that of the video in the first period thus sustaining a visually natural color balance as an average.
