SYNCHRONIZING SEPARATOR CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing separator circuit where jitter performance is not deteriorated even if the shape of the signal waveform of a composite synchronizing signal changes. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with a phase comparison circuit outputting a phase comparison result from the composite synchronizing signal with which a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal are overlapped, a phase comparison reference signal and the decimal component of a frequency dividing ratio, a loop filter operating the frequency dividing ratio for generating the phase comparison reference signal from the output of the phase comparison circuit, and a frequency dividing circuit inputting the integer component of the frequency dividing ratio outputted from the loop filter and generating the phase comparison reference signal.
