PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service point control system for allowing a user to add points even when the user goes shopping without carrying a card. SOLUTION: When a customer 1 purchases merchandise in a store 10, a receipt is issued. The sum of the purchase price and a receipt number for identifying the receipt are printed on the receipt. The customer 1 brings the receipt back home, and transmits receipt data including the receipt number and the sum of the purchase price from a personal computer 30 to a point control server 41. The point control server 41 confirms the validity of the receipt data based on the receipt number and the sum of the purchase price, and stores points corresponding to the purchase price at the time of confirming that the receipt data are valid. |
