PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate both a moving body image signal and a contour image signal inside a solid-state image pickup device. SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device is constituted by providing a plurality of light-receiving pixels arranged on a light-receiving surface and for converting an incident beam photoelectrically for each pixel to generate a pixel output, a moving body extraction part for generating a moving body image signal indicating the motions of an object based on the time difference of the pixel output generated by the light-receiving pixel, a contour extraction part for generating a contour image signal indicating the contour contents of the object based on the space difference (difference between the adjacent pixels) of the pixel output generated by the light-receiving pixel, and a signal output for transferring and outputting the moving body image signal and the contour image signal in synchronized timing.
