PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer where no noisemaking phenomenon occurring at driving the piezoelectric transformer degrades conversion efficiency of the piezoelectric transformer nor quality. SOLUTION: There are provided a piezoelectric transformer element 1, a insulating resin case 2A for housing the piezoelectric transformer element, and a plurality of flexible leaf spring lead terminals 3A, 4A, and 5A where an element extension electrically connected to an output electrode and an input electrode of the piezoelectric transformer element as well as an external connection connected to an external circuit are formed. A part of the lead terminal is fitted to the case as one body, and the piezoelectric transformer element is mounted on the case with the lead terminal and the piezoelectric transformer element electrically connected each other. Step parts 201A, 202A, 203A, and 204A are so configured as to protrude above the bottom surface of case so that the external connection of the lead terminal contacts the external circuit.
