PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature-sensitive resistor device manufacturing method, capable of manufacturing base bodies that have uniformly chamfered parts and smooth surfaces, with high productivity. SOLUTION: This method is for manufacturing a temperature-sensitive resistor device, which is equipped with a cylindrical base body 3 that is formed of insulator and has edge faces whose edges are chamfered, a film-like temperature-sensitive resistor 2 formed on the peripheral surface of the base body 3, communicating with both the edges of the base body 3, and a conductive member 4 electrically connected to the temperature-sensitive resistor 2, which protrudes from both the edges of the base body 3. The base body 3 is molded by injection molding at the same time as when its edge faces are chamfered.
