PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig and method for disassembling and assembling a high pressure governor capable of improving working efficiency at the time of disassembly and assembly, and improving the treatability of disassembled components. SOLUTION: This disassembling and assembling jig is provided with a fixing plate 44 for pressurizing a cage attaching/detaching jig 41 to a cage 31. Also, a spring case 42 and a thrust bearing 43 are interposed between the fixing plate 44 and the cage attaching/detaching jig 41. Moreover, a torque magnification attachment 45 is formed at the top end of the cage attaching/detaching jig 41. Therefore, when the cage 31 is removed by using this cage attaching/ detaching jig 41, the cage attaching/detaching jig 41 is prevented form coming off the cage 31. Thus, it is possible to easily remove the cage 31 without applying any large torque.
