GEOMETRICIZING METHOD FOR SIMILARITY IN DATA GROUP

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that similarities can not be represented sufficiently by only one kind of distance although they are displayed in the increasing order of distances by the conventional similarity display method as to a geometricizing method for similarities in a data group which displays similarity information on a base array group, an amino acid group, etc. SOLUTION: Plural kinds of distances between two arbitrary pieces of data in an inputted data group are calculated and calculated values of the mentioned kinds are converted into one value; and data having the same converted value with one arbitrary piece of data giving the least value among converted values as reference data are grouped and put together with the reference data in the increasing order of the converted values and a geometricized display is made with a group of similarities from the reference data.
