PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet, by which the oxidization of a rare-earth element can be suppressed fully and which excels in productivity. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet includes (a) a step of press-molding an alloy powder for the rare-earth sintered magnet, (b) a step of housing a molded body in a case, where a flow passage for carrying in/discharging a gas from/to the outside is limited and to arrange a gas-absorbing material at least adjacent to the flow passage, and (c) a step of sintering the molded body, by heating the case housing the molded body in an evacuated atmosphere. |
