PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic rare earth magnet powder which has a high anisotropy rate and a high coercive force and is obtained through industrial production. SOLUTION: This anisotropic rare earth magnet powder is obtained, in a manner in which the hydride of an R-Fe-B alloy containing 11 to 15 at.% R, 5.5 to 8.0 at.% B, unavoidable impurities, and the residual at.% Fe is subjected to a high-temperature hydrogenation treatment and successively undergoes a dehydrogenation treatment, where an anisotropic rate Br/Bs (Bs is uniformly set at 16kG) is set at 0.8 or higher. |
