The regulator (7) for the refrigerant fluid comprises an insert (13) which is pierced by a bore (14) with a calibrated fitting (15), designed to ensure adiabatic expansion of the fluid in line. A fixing element (12) surrounds the end of the flexible pipe and grips it around the insert. The regulator (7) for the refrigerant fluid forms part of the circuit which includes a flexible pipe (4). The fitting includes at least one in-line filter (28,29), each formed by a truncated section of cone, formed from porous plastic material which may be moulded around the outside of the ends of the regulator insert. The calibrated fitting has a diameter which lies between 0.7 mm and 2 mm, and a length between 30 mm and 50 mm.
