PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and reduce the number of parts in a shielding connector. SOLUTION: In the constitutions for both male and female connectors 20 and 40, since a shielded electric wire 10 and each shielding shell 25 and 45 are assembled, set inside a mold for resin forming, and collectively molded by synthetic resin filled inside this mold for forming connector housings 29 and 49, a gap provided for assembly in a conventional shielding connector becomes unnecessary, and in turn, to miniaturized the shield connector. Since connection parts 26 and 46, integrally provided in each shield shell 25 and 45, are connected to a shielding layer 13 of the shielded electric wire 10; particularly the provided parts for connecting the shielding layer of the shielded electric wire and the shielding shells as in conventional ones become unnecessary; and since the connector housings 29 and 49 adhere closely to the outer face of the shielded electric wire 10 for waterproofing, a conventional rubber plug becomes unnecessary to reduce the number of parts. |
