PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shift circuit in which the through-current of a CMOS inverter is small. SOLUTION: The level shift circuit consists of CMOS inverters of a plurality of stages for converting an input level, where a MOS transistor(TR) (8), whose gate and drain are electrically short-circuited is connected between a point of a power supply voltage (6) and 1st stage CMOS inverters (2, 3) that are an input section.
