摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the adjustment of the positional deviation of a magnetic head for performing the magnetic field modulation recording accompanied with the emission of a laser beam, with respect to the irradiated position of the laser beam, without requiring the special means in the constitution used for the applicable magneto-optical recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: An RF detection part 11 is a signal detection part for detecting the amplitude level of a reproduced signal of a reference signal recorded on a magneto-optical disk. The position of the magnetic head 12 is controlled by a position control part 14 through a head driving part 13. A head current control part 15 is a magnetic field intensity deciding means for deciding the intensity of the magnetic field generated from the magnetic head 12. By a system control part 16, the position of the magnetic head 12 is adjusted while controlling the position control part 14 and the head current control part 15 by referring to the property of the above reference signal detected by the RF detection part 11.
