<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment, which is equipped with a backup power source for guaranteeing the operation of an electronic apparatus, such as a server or the like at power failure of a commercial power source (AC). SOLUTION: This electronic plant possesses an electronic apparatus body 10, such as a server or the like, which has a built-in converter 11 for converting the main power, consisting of AC such as a commercial power source or the like and operates, receiving the power converted into DC by this converter, and a backup power source 20, which is equipped with a secondary battery (nickel-hydrogen battery) 21 for accumulating the power converted into DC by the converter, being built in this electronic apparatus body, and directly supplying the electronic apparatus body with DC power at power failure of the main power source, thus this dispenses with the joint use of an uninterruptive power unit thereby simplifying the system constitution.</p> |
