PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To earth a cassette holder to a chassis without adding any new parts. SOLUTION: In a mechanical position transfer period where a magnetic tape is changed from a forward rotation to a backward rotation, one end of a spring for pressing an arm for removing the slack of the tape is abutted on a cassette holder for conveying a magnetic tape cassette from an insertion hole a specified position for enabling recording/reproducing to be performed when the cassette is in the specified position.
