PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a term checking method capable of checking terms of payment on documents for public utility charges/tax and the like, which differ in outer form, format and notation. SOLUTION: 1) If a year and the fiscal year are set in a document, the year is given priority; if only the fiscal year is set and the current month is from January to March, then the year is the fiscal year plus one. 2) For books with no definition of months, one year is uniformly regarded as consisting of 31 days. 3) For a document with the definition of a month of payment, if the month of payment is greater than a month which is the deadline for payment, then a year of payment plus one is the year of the deadline for payment. If the month of payment is equal to or smaller than the month which is the deadline for payment, the year of payment is the year of the deadline for payment. 4) If the year of payment and (the year of the deadline for payment or the fiscal year of the deadline for payment) are set in the book, the year of the deadline for payment and the fiscal year of the deadline for payment are given priority. The year and month of the deadline for payment thus obtained are collated with the current date and month in the ATM to check whether payment can be made. |
